Two mums. One great idea.

Have you ever found yourself chatting with a friend over coffee, and one of you has joked with the other about how you should totally start a business together? Well we (Hannah and Nathalie) did just that, and it’s got a little bit out of hand…

We’re just two normal mums, who met on the school run when our boys started reception in 2023. A chance conversation led to us coming up with a plan to put hardworking mums just like us first.

Pamper & Play is the result of that plan, centred around the idea that mums should be able to be pampered and looked after, while safe in the knowledge that their little ones are being taken care of and having a great time for an affordable rate.

Meet the Pamper & Play Team

  • Hannah

    I’m Hannah, founder and hairdressing whizz with 16 years of experience! I started out during my last year of school, learning the ropes of blow-drying and salon life, and was thrilled to snag an apprenticeship in Salisbury where I earned my NVQ 1 & 2.

    I polished my skills in advanced hairdressing and bridal styles at Bournemouth College. After a stint in a Fordingbridge salon, my hometown at the time, I seized the chance to help open a barber’s shop, mastering men’s cutting techniques. Since 2016, Blandford has been my home, and I’ve been freelancing while looking after my two young boys.

    I love working on creative ladies' styles as well as sharp men’s cuts - come and say hi, and book an appointment!

  • Nathalie

    I'm a registered nurse who has worked in the NHS for the past 10 years and now serve as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. After having my two boys, Jack and Finn, I realised how much mums need support to allow for self-care, especially during the chaotic and overwhelming first five years of motherhood.

    It's always been my dream to give mums the chance to enjoy a beauty treatment or a fresh haircut while knowing their little ones are having fun and being cared for nearby.

    Hi, I’m Emma and my passion is nails; I’ve been qualified for six years now, and I really love the creativity that nail art offers and bringing client ideas to life!

    I offer a range of eyebrow and nail treatments, including gel polish, structured manicures, gel enhancements, French polish, nail art and glitter.
